Hello, I'm Derek Loan, the man behind Spares Direct. My love of bikes began at the not so tender age of 18 when I took part in the MCC high speed trials at Silverstone on a 650 Norton. I competed in many National and International road racing events, but my most memorable moments were the open road circuits in Ireland and the Isle of Man, where I last road in 1980. I am presently rebuilding a Formula 3 250 Suzuki racer.

I have been supplying Suzuki parts for 25 years, and opened a shop in West London in 1977, building up the largest independent supplier of Suzuki parts.
